All tour guests will arrive at Guwahati Airport as per scheduled Flight. Upon arrival you will meet
our Raghav Tour Manager and proceed to Shillong. (Recommended arrival in Guwahati between
1200hrs – 1500 hrs). Guwahati – the largest city of Assam, situated on the South bank of the
Brahmaputra River. This city is the gateway to the enchanting Northeast India and a center of
socio-cultural, industrial, trade and commerce activities of the entire region.
Shillong, a hill station and the capital of Meghalaya which is known as ‘Scotland of the East’.
Shillong has a westernized culture and it has a very young feel to it. En-route visit Umiam Lake,
one of the biggest artificial lakes in Meghalaya. On arrival visit Don Bosco Museum, which
provides a glimpse of the life, culture and history of Northeast India. This building is seven
storeys high, with each level representing one of the seven sister states of the
Northeast. Overnight at Shillong. (Breakfast,Dinner)
Have breakfast and proceed to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth. En-route we
visit the famous Elephanta Falls, a stunning waterfall located in the outskirts of Shillong. On
arrival visit NohKaLikai Falls, cascading down from the top of the gorge to the mystic deep green
pool below, Mawsmai Caves, magnificent caves formed out of limestone. Return to Shillong,

Today after breakfast, proceed to Mawlynnong, the Cleanest Village in Asia, which is locally
referred to as ‘God’s Own Garden’. Later visit Living Root Bridge, made of tangles of massively
thick roots & Balancing Rock. Then proceed to the border town of Dawki. On arrival enjoy
boating at the Umngot River, known for its crystal clear waters and also visit the Bangladesh
Border. Return to Shillong, Overnight at Shillong. (Breakfast,Dinner)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kaziranga – which is home to two-thirds
of the world’s population of the rare one-horned Rhinoceros. On arrival check in at the hotel.

Today morning, enjoy Jungle Safari, at Kaziranga National Park. Later enjoy the beautiful
surroundings of Tea Gardens. Later visit Orchid Park, which houses not only an orchid house with
over 600 species from Northeast India and medicinal herb gardens, a cactus house, and a
handicrafts museum. Evening enjoy Bihu Dance performance. Overnight at Kaziranga.

After early breakfast, check out and proceed to Bomdila / Dirang – the headquarters of West
Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh. En-route enjoy the breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

Today after breakfast, we will proceed to visit Bomdila Monastery, also known as Gentse Gaden
Rabgyel Ling monastery, Bombdila Monastery was built in 1965 by the twelth incarnation of the
Tsona Gontse Rinpoche. Later proceed to Tawang, which is situated at an altitude of 3025 M
above sea level. Tawang Chu River and Tawang Valley are very mesmerising. En-route pass
through Sela Pass, a high altitude mountain pass that acts as the gateway to Tawang. Also we
visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial; set in scenic terrain just below the Sela pass commemorates
the bravery of the martyred Indian soldiers of the 1962 Indo-China war. On arrival check in at the
hotel, Overnight at Tawang. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Early morning proceed to Bum La Pass (15,200 ft) – one of the four officially agreed BPM (Border
Personnel Meeting) points between the Indian Army and the People’s Liberation Army of China.
On the way back visit Shungatser Lake, named after the famous film star Madhuri Dixit who
danced here in a scene of the movie Koyla. Later visit Pankang Teng Tso Lake (12,000 ft) – also
known as PT Tso – is a high altitude lake. Return to Tawang. In the evening visit Tawang War
Memorial, commemorating the bravery of the Indian heroes of the Indo-China war of 1962.

Have breakfast in the hotel, check out and proceed to visit Tawang Monastery, the largest
monastery in India and second largest in the world. Later proceed to Bomdila. En-route we
visit Nuranang Waterfalls, a 100 meter-high waterfall formed by the Nuranang River, which
originates from the northern slopes of the Sela Pass. On arrival check in at the hotel, Overnight
at Bomdila. (Breakfast,Dinner)

Then All tour guests will proceed to Guwahati Airport / Railway station and start the return journey
